EHRs a distraction for three-quarters of physicians

According to a new survey conducted by athenahealth and Sermo, 73 percent of the 500 physicians surveyed said that EHRs are a distraction to doctor-patient interaction. Other findings include that 53 percent see the Affordable Care Act (ACA) as detrimental to high-quality care and nearly two-thirds expect the quality of medicine to decline over the next 5 years.
