RSNA 2010 highlights and products
X-rays go wireless and so much more
Wireless x-ray is one of GE’s top five highlights of the RSNA 2010 show, which include low CT dose, watching the world’s health via visual infographics, women’s health and the importance of early detection, and medical device designs that have a human touch. The company recently received 510k clearance for FlashPad, a flexible, wireless detector that features two handles to make it easier to position and maneuver. CT platform redefines low-dose imaging
The Philips Ingenuity CT (computed tomography) platform features iDose4, Philips’ next-generation iterative reconstruction technique designed to provide equivalent diagnostic image quality at up to 80 percent less dose; improve spatial resolution by up to 35 percent with up to 50 percent less dose; or simply improve spatial resolution by up to 68 percent.
